These tires were a great buy...at first. I thought I had found my new "go to" tire for my vehicles but I'm sad to say the search continues. I gave them 3 stars for snow just because I haven't experienced them in that condition. Wet traction: At first they were great! I felt a level of confidence that I experienced with the Michelin LTX M/S I just replaced...but something happened around 15,000 miles. They began to hydroplane a lot. Now I know you're probably gonna say, well slow the heck down and that wouldn't happen. And normally you'd be right. But these just are scary on the road during a storm. Like I said, they were great at first! Now I'm just not sure what's going on. And yes, they are rotated every 4,000 miles with the oil change. The funny thing is, the tread is no where near the "wear bars". Just be cautious if you purchase these. I know they aren't Michelin's but what the heck happened?

Good wear on my truck. Lot of highway miles in snow and rain. Off road in hunting season.

Cooper Discoverer H/T Plus are the best tires I have ever owned. They get me through mud and snow with ease. Great hydroplaning resistance on wet surfaces. Also great traction in dry, wet and snowy conditions. I would highly recommend these tires!!

This is the first time I purchased Cooper tires and I am pleased with them 100%. The ride is smooth and not very noisy on all types of pavements. I have no issues with stopping, breaking or if the road is wet from rain or snow.

They run great!
Ram 2013 Big Horn 4X4. We live in the mountains, winding roads. I liked the look of the tire, it wasn't loud on the road, did well in all conditions. Had good reviews. But I need new tires after 25,000 miles. don't think I will purchase these tires again. Will not purchase again for my truck and my driving conditions.
Just replaced my Bridgestone's with the Cooper Discoverer HTP's on a Ford F-150. Very quite and comfortable ride. Highly recommend this tire.
These tires had good enough traction in all conditions, but the noise was terrible. They were a little noisy at first, but as they wore it became unbearable. They got so bad that I replaced them with 6/32" tread left (40K miles). They probably would have lasted another 20K, but I would have had to have been put in an asylum or something by then. New tires were cheaper than a padded cell, so that's what I did.
I am pretty skeptical when I read reviews on most anything. I have been riding on BFG T/A KO2's for the last year and it's been nothing but terrible. I can equate them to tank treads. So I decided to switch it up and found these Cooper's during my research. They have been getting rave reviews on every site I went on during my research so I decided to give the m a try. The price point was very nice so it didn't take much thought.
Thank goodness I did! I kid you not these tires smoothed everything out. I went from the truck rattling on every little rock and bump in the road to a smooth sailing chariot. I did not think tires could make that much of a difference.
I don't know how the perform in the rain or snow as it is now summer. Looking forward to seeing how they perform in the elements when the time comes.
I have run goodyear, general, toyo, and michelin on 2 dodge pickups and a grand Cherokee. Like everyone i want a good safe tire along with life for the money spent. Last set of these tires rotated every 10k on grand Cherokee went 60k. Wife loved tires. Today i run these on a jeep and 1500 ram. Great tires. On my 2500 ram i run the ko2 AT tires. So far these have been best tires on the market for me.
I have a 2004 GMC SLE, I had Hankook Ventus AS
285/50/R20 for 8 years (3 sets), I never got more than 40,000 miles per set. I just got my first set of Copper Discoverer H/T Plus because a good friend
recommended them and Hankook tire discontinued
the Ventus. I have read the reviews on this tire and it sounds like all were very pleased. Its winter in the Pacific Northwest and we are under a winter storm watch from now until 09 Feb 2017, looking forward to checking out how my truck does. Beefy looking TIRE.
Welcome to the Northwest, we get some rain, we build asphalt roads and so we have wet puddles and tire grooves on the freeway. Now I need the freeway to get to work, and my Toyo Open Country tires that came on my 2006 Durango were hard as rocks and not super in anyway, even off road. I was worried about taking the Toyos over Snoqualme pass one Thanksgiving and so I priced out tires. The reviews for this tire were good and the price from the local tire place was amazing!
I've never been so happy about a tire purchase in my life, I've never even cared till I got these tires. So quiet, perfect ride, and so much traction! I mean come on I know the Durango is big and heavy but I plow through standing water on the road like it's nothing, seriously my fianc's nicer never car's traction control freaks out because of the hydroplaning her car does. But not the Durango, nope. And that mountain pass, I've taken it in ALL conditions, no chains ever. At 265-60-18 nothing compares. Almost forgot, great in the sand too.....we get around.
Highly recommend this tire for a 2011 Dodge Ram 1500. Very quiet tire with comfortable ride. Very good dry traction.
I just had 4 of these put on my 2012 ford f150. I can't believe the difference these tires are compared to the goodyears that were on the truck. These are super quiet, real smooth ride, and look great on my factory 20" wheels. They performed great in a pretty heavy rain already. And once winter hits here in northeast ohio, I'm sure the results will be the same.
I have these tires on my Acura MDX excellent traction and performance road noise ok but the best thing about these tires is tread life I have 91,000 miles on them with 4/32 tread left if it was summer I would run them for another 10,000
